Building custom commercial cabinetry for schools, hospitals, colleges, offices, and nursing homes typically for general contractors.

Helping in the wood finishing department with staining, clear coating, and sanding wood products.

Prefer construction and manufacturing experience, willing to train the right individual.

Need to be physically able to move parts, run hand tools, understand measurements, and work as a team.

Duties would also include running forklift and CNC machinery, and keeping the workspace organized.

Job Type: Full Time (8 Hr Shifts)

Location: Cavalier, ND

Work Location: In Person

Responsibilities/Duties:

Coordinate and oversee the purchasing activities of the company
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions
Collaborate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
Utilize ERP (Material Requisition) system to track and manage inventory
Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information

Experience:

Prefer a Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities

The ideal candidate will have experience in the fabricating industry.
