Human Resources Coordinator

Woodside Industries, Inc., a family-owned business since 2001, is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department, supporting various functions such as employee benefits, compliance, and recruitment.


Job Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator will focus on key administrative and strategic HR tasks, including benefits administration, employee data management, and compliance monitoring. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and experience in HR processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and addressing inquiries.
  • Manage employee timekeeping systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Coordinate the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support succession planning initiatives and maintain accurate records of performance metrics.
  • Assist management with employee evaluations and feedback processes.
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to onboarding and offboarding employees.
  • Facilitate HR projects and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assist with safety training sessions and meetings.
  • Work with drivers to ensure logs and vehicle inspections are current and compliant.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficient in benefits administration and knowledgeable about employee benefit programs.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong data collection and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of employees.
  • Strong project management skills to lead HR initiatives.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices, including succession planning and performance evaluations.

  • Pay: $20.78–$22.21/hour
